But since were on the topic. Yes the flames do have a way better bottom two lines. For one Bennett would be there instead of F. Hamilton. For two, point prodution is not a very good way to look at how good bottom two lines contribute at all.

MEh, I dunno about 'terrible'.
Kassians solid when he's skating.
Pouliot has been playin way better recently.
Desh is mediocre but helps on the dot. Pretty much the only reason we acquired him. BE nice if they were more effective offensively, but I don't hate them as our 3rd line.
The real issue is nuge and ebs struggling to put the puck in the net for long stretches, forcing Leon to the wing.
Leon at 2c and nuge at 3c was how it was originally drawn up I think. Which is a far deeper group

Who should be there and who is Are two totally different things. NUge should be on our 3rd, but he ain't, so yeah we don't get to use it.
Besides, bennet hasn't proven he's a hugely effective player as of yet anyways

as far as contribution, our 3rd has been absolutely adequate defensively. and as stated, on par with yours offensively too

This may perhaps be true, but I'm not going to take the time to look for all the relevant stats.
I will maintain that the bottom 6 of both squads are still pretty damn equal all things considered. However if someone chooses to post stats showing otherwise then I will concede the point.
